Scholarship Managers, an independent, professional scholarship service, will select the recipients. Neither DeCA nor Fisher House will be involved in the selection process of the recipients.
Applications are scored on the following criteria:
Letters will be mailed to recipients on or about May 3rd. Scholarships will only be applied to the student's cost for the forthcoming school year, although a successful applicant may reapply under this scholarship program in succeeding years.
Scholarship Managers will mail checks to the recipient's home address on file on or about August 1st. The check is made payable to the college or university selected by the scholarship recipient. It is the recipient's responsibility to forward the check to the appropriate office at the college or university.
It is the responsibility of the recipient to ensure that Scholarship Managers have their most current address on file.
